GPWG members contributed to the PAGES Warmer Worlds Integrative Activity addressing the different impacts on the Bio/Geosphere in a future warmer world, according to the Paris Agreement.
This is the outcome of a workshop held April 2017 in Bern (Switzerland), where participants compiled evidence from paleorecords to assess the response of marine and terrestrial ecosystems, ice sheets, sea ice to a maximum 1.5-2°C global warming.

The GPWG will continue collaborating with other WG’s interested in climate change impacts and the causes/consequences of altered disturbance regimes on Earth across ecosystems. Get in touch with us!
